Terms of Use
The following Terms of Use apply to all electronic communications, including our websites, blogs, social media sites, and other electronic communications that we may send to you, such as email. By using our website and opting in to other methods of communication, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

General Policies
Ownership, license, use
This website and other methods of communication are owned and operated by Ernie’s Bar & Pizza. Ernie’s Bar & Pizza has developed certain marks, taglines, and logos to identify the restaurant. These marks have been registered in the U.S. and we reserve all rights to their use. Unauthorized use of the marks is a violation of trademark laws of the U.S. and is subject to legal action and penalties as provided by law.

General
Periodically, we perform site maintenance activities that may disrupt the normal operations of the site. Our goal is to perform routine maintenance during non-peak hours; however, occasionally unforeseen interruptions occur to normal operation of the site. We are committed to correcting these as soon as possible.

Email
Ernie’s Bar & Pizza distributes e-newsletters via email.  We also may occasionally send email announcements regarding new services and information. These email messages may be sent to website visitors who have provided an email address and have indicated a desire to receive such announcements.

All broadcast e-newsletters and email messages give individuals the ability to “opt out” of receiving similar future email announcements. Email addresses collected from members and/or through our website are not sold to third parties.

The term “aggregated data” refers to general, abstracted information regarding visitors and users of our Site, including traffic patterns, number of visits to certain pages, visits from other websites or to third-party websites linked to our Site, use of particular services or features on the Site or on other websites reached through our Site.

Data Collection and Use
Some of our services require you to register for an account. We ask you for some personal information in order to create an account (such as your name, email address, mailing address, and/or a password for your account) and we will use that information to provide the service. In the event you choose to make a donation online to goodfoodmedianetwork.org, we use trusted third party service providers who process and maintain your credit card information in encrypted form on secure servers.

When we require personal information, we will inform you about the types of information we collect and how we may use it. We hope this will help you make an informed decision about sharing your personal information with us.

For surveys completed by you, we will not disclose your personal information without your prior consent. The information you provide as part of the any survey will be confidential.  However, audited survey data will be used in aggregate form by Ernie’s Bar & Pizza or third parties to create data assessments of various types. We will NEVER publish or sell individual restaurant data. You must be at least 18 to participate in any survey.

Upon your first visit to the Site, a cookie is sent to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. A “cookie” is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit a website. We use cookies to collect and maintain aggregate information about Site use, to improve the quality of our services and to better understand how people interact with our Site. We do this by storing user preferences in cookies and by tracking user trends and patterns of how people search. We use this aggregated data only in the ways explained in this Privacy Policy.

Parts of the Site are password-protected. If you check “Remember Me” upon log-in, we may use a “cookie” to enable you to return to password-protected areas of the Site without having to re-enter your password.

Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some the Site’s features or services may not function properly without cookies.

Our site may include third-party advertising and links to other websites. We do not provide any personal information to these advertisers or third-party websites.

These third-party websites and advertisers, or Internet advertising companies working on their behalf, sometimes use technology to send (or “serve”) the advertisements that appear on our Sites directly to your browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. They may also use cookies, JavaScript, web beacons (also known as action tags or single-pixel gifs), and other technologies to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. We do not have access to or control over cookies or other features that they may use, and the information practices of these advertisers and third-party websites are not covered by this Privacy Policy. Please contact them directly for more information about their privacy practices. In addition, the Network Advertising Initiative offers useful information about Internet advertising companies (also called “ad networks” or “network advertisers”), including information about how to opt-out of their information collection.
