Pub Quiz Comes to Ernie’s
Who doesn’t love some friendly competition coupled with a little social drinking? Beginning on February 20, Ernie’s will feature Pub Quiz every Monday night from 8 to 10 p.m. You may be asking…. what’s a Pub Quiz? Put simply, it’s a quiz game played in a pub (based on a popular Anglo-Irish tradition.) Brought to you by Geeks Who Drink, Pub Quiz burns through nearly 70 multimedia questions in two exciting hours covering everything from celebrities in trouble to word play to bad television. Plus- Ernie’s will be one of only two bars in Denver to incorporate movie trivia. The Quiz consists of eight rounds of eight questions each played by teams of up to six people. If you want to play, but don’t have a team, come anyway! Single players will be recruited onto an existing team. Winning teams will earn street cred and prizes! Fat Tuesday
If you can’t travel to New Orleans to collect some beads during Mardi Gras, Ernie’s is the next best stop! On Tuesday, February 21st, Ernie’s will celebrate Fat Tuesday. Laissez les bons temps rouler. Come have a classic Planters Punch cocktail or a $4 “Hurricane.”
Denver Restaurant Week
Ernie’s is excited to participate in Denver Restaurant Week for the first time ever! Denver Restaurant Week is a two-week celebration of the culinary scene in Denver. Participating restaurants will offer a multi-course dinner for the fixed price of $52.80 for two (does not include tax and gratuity). And Ernie’s always takes in to consideration our vegetarian and gluten-free guests. Below is the menu that Ernie’s will offer during Denver Restaurant Week:
First Course
Appetizer (one per person):
- Individual Anti-Pasto Platter, an array of meats, cheeses, olives, nuts and other surprises, served with bread (can be made vegetarian and gluten-free)
Second Course
Salad (one per person):
- Roast Beet and Chevre Salad, baby spinach, local goat cheese and our house-made vinaigrette
- Arugula Salad, peppery baby wild arugula tossed with lemon, sea salt, olive oil, raisins, toasted pine nuts and shaved parmesan
Third Course
Shared Entree (choice of):
- A large two-topping pizza (added toppings will be an additional charge)
*Gluten-Free Option (available only in 12″ size): two gluten free pizzas equate to one large pizza OR guests can choose one 10″ regular crust pizza and one 12″gluten-free pizza
- Tuscan Roasted Chicken Dinner. Served over panzanella arugula salad with pine nuts and raisins.
Fourth Course
Dessert (one per person):
- Italian Chocolate Flourless Torte with a strawberry coulis and whipped cream (gluten-free)
- Champagne dressed lemon sorbet topped with a cherry brandy puree (gluten-free)
Bottle of Wine
Choice of:
A bottle of Ernie’s private label house Pinot Grigio or Cabernet

Industry Night
Do you work in the service industry? If so, Monday nights at Ernie’s are for you! Come in anytime between 3:30 pm and close and enjoy 15% off your entire bill. Don’t forget to bring a copy of your pay stub (from the past 30 days) and your photo ID as proof of employment. Eligible industries include fire, police, restaurant, hotel, and education.

Let us do the cooking for you! Every Tuesday night from 3:30 to close, Ernie’s Bar & Pizza will simplify your evening by entertaining your entire family with a fun, tasty and affordable dinner. That’s right- no planning, no cooking, no cleaning, no hassle!
The dinner for four is just $30 and guests may select the meal that suits their family best:
- A 20” two topping pizza, house salad (for 4) and a pitcher of soda
- Spaghetti and meatballs, bread, house salad (for 4) and a pitcher of soda

Ernie’s is now offering late night Pizza by the Slice. Between 10 p.m. and Midnight daily, enjoy a slice of cheese pizza for $3 or a slice of pepperoni for $4.
