Ernie’s Bar & Pizza pays homage to the original restaurant opened by Ernie Capillupo in 1948 in the Sunnyside Neighborhood – and an entire generation of Italian Americans who taught us a little something about food, drink, friends and family. We hand-make our own sauce and fresh mozzarella every day. While the menu is contemporary, the kitchen is one of the only left in Denver to still make fresh pizza dough every morning and hand-stretch that same dough to order for guests every night. Ernie’s bar carries thirty beers on tap with a focus on craft brew and features a thoughtful whiskey collection that includes two house infusions. Ernie’s Bar & Pizza also takes into consideration our vegetarian and gluten-free guests.
